RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS

Boys Recreational Program
In IGC’s Recreational Program, boys are grouped together based on age and ability levels.

It is designed for students 5 years or older, and is conducted in our main gym area using all full size equipment.

The Boys Beginner class is a starting point geared toward new students with limited previous gymnastics experience.

As gymnasts acquire new skills, they are invited to progress towards our Intermediate & Advanced Classes.

Enrollment in our recreational gymnastics program is a great way to introduce boys to our sport and help them realize their full gymnastics potential.

Developmental Acro Program
IGC’s Developmental Acro program is where students are first introduced to the basics of this sport.

Acro Gymnastics is a display of  balance, flexibility, tumbling, and structure-building.

In addition to the physical benefits of gymnastics, the team performance-based nature of acro provides children and adolescents with additional communication skills and social development.

Each year, select gymnasts are picked from this Developmental Team and are invited to our competitive Junior Olympic Acro Team.

This is a place for aspiring Acro Team members to familiarize themselves with how to use their body and teammates to cooperatively perform balance and dynamic routines.

Tumbling Classes
IGC’s Tumbling Classes offer students an avenue to specialize in floor-based tumbling skills.

The students in this program have a wide variety of outcomes in their future.

Some join purely for the fun of the movement. Other students have ambitions in cheerleading, breakdancing, martial arts, or performance art.

We also have many of our students in other programs take tumbling to supplement their current endeavors within our already-established gymnastics or acro programs.

This class is a great way to enhance motor development,  increase strength, and improve overall bodily awareness.

Private Lessons
IGC’s Private & Semi-Private Lessons have a multitude of uses for athletes in various disciplines.

This is a highly effective strategy for zeroing in on specific skill technique & getting that extra boost of confidence when facing new challenges.

Anyone can book private lessons  in 60-min increments with prices varying dependent on your instructor of choice & the number of students envolved (no more than 3 persons per lesson).

You do not have to be enrolled in any of our tuition-based programs to schedule private lessons.
